Namma Bengaluru's K R Market features a great range and variety of flowers. The best time to attend the market is between 2 and 8 am.

The market is located in the Kalasipalya neighbourhood, next to Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, on Mysore Road near the intersection with Krishnarajendra Road. This area was the first in Asia to receive electricity and is home to one of the largest flower markets.
 K R Market features a broad range and variety of spices, fruits, vegetables, and flowers. It is recommended that visitors arrive at least before 5 a.m the earlier shoppers arrive, the greater the variety and quality of the produce. Prices range from 20 to 200 rs per kg. It is important to be cautious with your belongings.


It is the largest wholesale commodities market in Bangalore, India, is K R Market, also known as the city market. It's named for the former king of Mysore, Krishnarajendra Wodeyar. The market is situated in the Kalasipalya area, adjacent to the Tipu Sultan's.

 In 1928, the K R market was set up. The location of the market is said to have been a water tank and then a battlefield in the 18th century during the Anglo-Mysore Wars. There are two buildings still standing at the front and back of the market area, which were built during the British period.
